Chinese Medicine
Traditional
Chinese Medicine (TCM) encompasses several methods including Acupuncture
and adjunctive therapies such as acupressure, moxibustion, cupping, tuina
and guasha (massage techniques), diet and lifestyle changes, meditation
and exercise in the form of Qi Gong or Tai Chi.
TCM
is very complex and works on the idea that the body is a whole and what
happens to one part of the body affects other areas of the body. The mind
and body are viewed as a whole and not separately – but all part
of one system. |
